American Kennel Club (AKC)

The American Kennel Club, since its foundation in 1884, has been a front runner in dog training, breeding, competition, and events. Since 2009, mixed-breed dogs or dogs without AKC registration papers have been allowed to be registered under a PAL number to participate in AKC Agility, Obedience, and Rally Events.

United Kennel Club (UKC)

UKC is an international dog registry that allows you to register your dog individually, as a litter, for a performance listing, etc. UKC offers a full spectrum of dogs sports and events around the world.

Canine Performance Events (CPE)

CPE's Basic philosophy is for dogs AND handlers to have fun while copmeting in agility events. Membership is open to all dogs, mixed-breed or pure breed, 15 months or older.

Teacup Dogs Agility Association (TDAA)

The Teacup Dogs Agility Association offers a venue for small dogs regardless of breed or pedigree. There is a local chapter in Tampa. DTCT regularly hosts TDAA events.

United States Dog Agility Association (USDAA)

USDAA was organized in 1986 with the goal of promoting "international standards for dog agility". USDAA has over 40,000 registered canines and 200+ breeds, including mixed breeds.

Alliance of Therapy Dogs

ATD is an international registry of certified therapy dogs. DTCT offers a 4 week course through Alliance fo Therapy Dogs to prepare yourself and your dog to take part in therapy work.
