This class is designed to learn skills and knowledge needed to become a Therapy Dog team and includes an evaluation necessary for a certification.
This class is for puppies 12 weeks to 6 months. Class starts with the very basic commands every dog should know such as sit, stay, down and come. Information on common puppy problems such as crating, nipping and housebreaking are covered.
Once you graduate from puppy class and you want to continue with obedience work or you have an older dog that has never been to an obedience class, we offer a basic obedience class. This class reviews sit, down, come, and stay and adds such exercises as heel, heel fast, heel slow, heel while turning, long sits, long downs, and long distance recalls.
This class is offered to the dog owner to prepare their dog for the CGC evaluation. It is a five week course and upon completion, your dog will be evaluated the on the items required to earn an AKC CGC title. The evaluations will be done during the fifth week. All classes need to be attended. A 6 foot leash and a variety of soft treats and a small tug toy are needed for class
AKC Canine Good Citizenship Certification Program
The American Kennel Club's Canine Good Citizen Certification test is also available by appointment. We have several CGC evaluators that will schedule the testing with you. You can read all about it on the AKC website and pick up a brochure at the club. There is a fee for the test.

Once graduation from Basic has occurred, students may move on to Advanced Basic. This class is perfect for an owner who wants more than the basic class offered. Advanced Basic is a drop-in class although it is taught in seven week sessions where skills build on one another from week to week. Students are therefore advised to attend class each week to get the most out of the class.
This competition level class is for dogs and handlers preparing for a Companion Dog (CD) Obedience title. This class moves fast and you are required to know both the exercises and terminology before starting the class. Once you have received your first obedience title, the CD, you may want to continue training for your next title, a CDX (Companion Dog Excellent). This is the class to help you prepare for the title.

An overall course to help the student understand basic skills needed for all venues. Both basic and necessary skills for the dog and knowledge needed by the handler will be discussed.
Many Rally exercises provide a great foundation for future obedience training. This class will introduce some of the basic exercises utilized in rally.
This class is designed to work the upper level skills needed for AKC Rally competition. A full course will be set up to practice signs. Instructions on specific signs will be available.

This is an off leash class in which dogs must have their Rally Novice or Intermediate title to attend.
This class focuses on hands on training where you will learn how to position your dog and how to move your dog in the most commonly requested patterns. Our instructors will go over each dog numerous times, giving you advice on how to improve. Your dog will become more comfortable in the ring and it will learn to let you position it with less of a struggle.
This class is designed to have fun with your dog and/ or prepare you for competition. There is many DTCT opportunities available to demonstrate skills learned.

In this introductory class, you will begin learning about agility, teamwork, terminology and basic obstacle work.
Building upon Level 1 basics, this class expands terminology, obstacle proficiency and teamwork skills needed between the handler and their dog.
Building upon L1 & L2 skills, this class includes beginning sequencing and increases agility skills with obstacles and handling skills.
Building upon L3 skills, this class is a repeatable class expanding obstacle proficiency and prepares the dog/handler team for trialing.
This is an advanced class for dogs/handlers already competing above Novice levels. Different options will be given for handling difficult segments. A full course will be run at the end of each class.
This is monitored practiced time for working on agility skills and obstacles. One dog at a time will be working.

This class will discuss specific problems and how to work through them with different options offered to improve performance.
