SHOW N GO's

DOG TRAINING CLUB OF TAMPA will be hosting two obedience SHOW N GOs -- January 5, 2013, and February 2, 2013 9:00am to 12noon. $10 for the first entry and $7 for the second entry (same dog). We will be using two rings. Get your dog ready for those upcoming shows.

An New Obedience Class is Being Ofered at DTCT!

Beginner Novice Class: DTCT will be offering a new class, Beginner Novice, beginning Thursday, March 7^th, at 6:30 PM. This will be a 7-week drop in class, which will concentrate on different exercises each week. It will temporarily replace the Rally class on Thursdays. The Beginner Novice class will be tailored for dogs and handlers who have completed a Basic and/or Advanced Basic class, and who wish to continue to train to perfect the Basic class exercises. The class will concentrate on how to train and become successful in the Novice exercises that are part of the Basic and Advanced Basic classes. Upon completing the Beginning Novice exercises, the dog and handler should be prepared to earn a Beginner Novice Title (BN).

A New Dog Tricks Class will be Offered at DTCT!

Have you always wanted to have people recognize your dog's intelligence and cuteness? Dog tricks are a great way to show off your awesome canine companion. Or do you just want to have more fun with your dog? DTCT will be offering a new dog tricks class beginning Feb 23 at 11:00 am.

This class will offer you the opportunity to share with others the tricks your dog can do and a chance to learn new tricks for your dog to perform. Come join us for lots of relaxing fun with our wonderful canine family members.

Buddy Practice

The Dog Training Club of Tampa is offering Buddy Practice from 9-10:30 on Thursday mornings. Open and Utility rings will be set up, and handlers can share rings with other Obedience enthusiasts for the price of a drop-in ($10). Equipment can be moved to the side for Novice dogs, so everyone is welcome. Get your dog used to working with distractions in a different place.
